On campus, Kiambra is a member of the Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated, the historian of the Black Student Coalition, the sustainability chair of Patterson Court Council, and the manager of the Davidson Women’s Basketball team. Her interests include sports media and broadcasting because she wants to bridge the gap between women and sports media. She hopes to work for ESPN in the future. Leah Stauber is an intended English major from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. This past year, she volunteered at the Davidson Green School as a grant writer and taught Spanish to a first grade class at Davidson Elementary. On campus, she received third prize in the R. Windley Hall writing competition, and had an article published in the Legalese (Davidson’s legal journal.) She is also a member of the pre-law society and running club, and has served on Exit 30’s review board. This summer she interned with LeadersNow International in Pittsburgh. Evan Yi is a sophomore from Little Rock Arkansas. He is in the process of creating an Asian-American Studies major through the Center for Interdisciplinary Studies. On campus, he is the Vice President of FreeWord, Service Chair of the Asian Cultural Awareness Association, co-founder of Ethics Bowl, and involved with Chorale, After Hours, and the Student Initiative for Academic Diversity. Evan’s passions include social justice, writing page and spoken word poetry, singing choral and jazz music, playing soccer, and trying to find a good Chinese restaurant within 15 minutes of Davidson. He also plans to publish a co-written chapbook of poetry next year. Anna Cox is from Great Falls, Virginia. While officially undeclared, she plans to major in Economics and minor in French and Francophone Studies. Collin Epstein is from Brookline, Massachusetts. After spending his gap year at Eton College in the United Kingdom, he intends to study physics and computer science at Davidson College. At Davidson, Collin is a member of the Chorale and the Generals, a trip leader for Davidson Outdoors, and made his Davidson theater debut in Fiddler on the Roof in spring 2015. Collin wrote his paper for Dr. Yukich in Writing 101: Writing about Physics.
